A. Most transcription jobs are completed between 24-48 hrs. However, if you have a difficult audio file (many speakers, background noise, etc.), it might take us longer. Be rest assured, we will get the files back to you as early as humanly possible.
A: Our rates are extremely competitive and lower than our competitors on an average. Our rates start at $0.99/minute of audio. Rates may be higher based on number of speakers, quality of audio, turn-around-time requested, etc. We can assure you that you will be pleasantly surprised at how affordable we are.
A. Rates may be higher for difficult-to-hear audio recordings that have background noise, multiple speakers, people talking over each other, low volume, fast talkers, recordings in public places, telephone calls, focus groups or depending on a host of other factors that impact audio quality.
A. While we support most medical specializations, we have extensive experience in Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Emergency Room, Pediatrics and General Practice.
A: We support most popular audio formats like DSS, DSS2, MP3, WAV, WMA, etc. If you have any special format, let us know and we should be able to come up with a solution for you.
A. Yes, we can, but there is an additional fee since we have to convert to digital form and then start the transcription process.
A: We will send the transcribed documents through email, FTP, our transcription platform ScribeSuite– whatever you are comfortable with.
A: We accept audio files in many ways like email, FTP, web-based file upload, our transcription platform ScribeSuite– whatever you are comfortable with.
A: We will send you completed documents in Microsoft Word in .doc or .docx format.
A: Our standard transcription is non-verbatim. We do not transcribe hesitation sounds (e.g. um, er, uh, etc). but do leave in most hesitation words (you know, I mean, etc). We try to correct grammar and punctuation as much as possible to make the document easy to read.
A: We are available during normal business hours 9AM – 6PM EST. However, for most days, someone is in the office till late evening. If we are not able to pick up your call, leave a voicemail message and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.
